Shamal Technologies · A case file for PIF · 2026

The command room already exists.

Not a pitch deck claim. A working prototype, built on the same engine that already fuses drone imagery, CCTV and site data for projects at NEOM, KAUST and Saudi Aramco sites today.

Six short chapters. Every claim in them is sourced, and the ledger at the bottom of the screen fills in as you pass each one.
01 · Recognition

The perimeter already sees everything.

A patrol drone flags a car, a gate, a person, in real time. That part already works, everywhere a camera can fly.

What doesn't exist yet is the room where all of it — patrol, inspection, custody — lands as one picture.

Aerial drone view of a fortified access road with live AI object-detection boxes over vehicles and pedestrians.
Live AI object-detection running on drone telemetry — the same class of analytics Shamal already runs on inspection flights.
02 · Tension

Three true records. No one holding all three.

The feed lives with the operator. The access log lives with the site. The airspace clearance lives with a third party.

Three true records of the same ten minutes, and no single view of all three at once.

That gap isn't a technology problem. It's an org-chart problem wearing a technology costume.

03 · Turn

This isn't a new invention.

Shamal Online has been running since May 2022, signed at KAUST, built with Cyberhawk's iHawk platform. It already fuses drone imagery, ground CCTV and third-party sensors into one layer, with AI-driven analytics, for capital projects across the Kingdom.

The flagship is that same engine, pointed at a security perimeter instead of a construction site.

04 · Substance

Four parties. One event stream.

Every screen here is a real screenshot of a working prototype, not a rendering.

05 · Range

Said plainly, not sold.

Anduril, Lattice. Sets the ceiling of the category: defense-grade AI command, a $20B-scale U.S. Army contract. Not a Saudi peer.
Ahoy Technology. Sells sovereignty as a pitch, a "Physical AI OS" with no presence in Saudi Arabia.
Shamal. Already sovereign, in-Kingdom, trusted by NEOM, KAUST and Aramco. Doesn't sell the sovereignty story. Operates inside it.
Cyberhawk. Not a second competitor on this list. A named partner, already inside Shamal Online.
06 · Commitment

The rest gets built in the room.

The finance narrative and the size of the ask aren't written here on purpose. Those get built live, with PIF, once the room agrees on what's already true above. Start that conversation →
